The Altri Group's Summer Academy had, once again, a strong participation of young people. This year, for the first time, Celbi's pioneering initiative was extended to the remaining cellulosic fiber production units, Caima and Biotek, allowing these young people to experience various roles in the company.

In total, 42 young people aged between 17 and 23 were able, during the summer months, to get to know the units of a European group that is a reference in the sustainable production of eucalyptus cellulosic fibers.

Some attending general or professional secondary education, others attending degrees and masters in areas as diverse as Biology, Engineering, Languages, among others, were able to have experimental contact with some activities in the various units of the Altri Group, from manufacturing functions to corporate.

This pre-professional experience allowed them to develop personal skills, while contributing to a healthy occupation of these young people's free time. In addition, all participants in this Summer Academy were also compensated with scholarships awarded by the Altri Group.

The Summer Academy is a tradition that dates back to the early 80's, held at that time by Celbi. Over these many years, the initiative already has more than 1,300 participants, a number that will continue to increase, as the Altri Group intends to proceed with another edition in the summer of 2023.
